CONTROL
Gate control via mobile app and the internet
The Gate Control PRO 1000 Monitoring has both a built-in Ethernet port and a 4G modem, so an internet connection can be provided via a cable or mobile network. Users can control the gate or barrier assigned to them from the mobile app, from anywhere.
Control by GSM call with caller ID recognition
The system also works based on caller ID recognition: when a call is made from an authorized phone number, the module performs the control action, and the call doesn't need to be answered – it's free of charge. If needed, calls from hidden (undisplayed) numbers can also be enabled.
Control two gates or barriers with one device
The module has 2 relay outputs (NO/NC/COM), which can be used to control two different gates or barriers at the same time – this is especially useful at locations with a separate entry and exit gate, or two separate entrances.
Scheduled control
The outputs can also be controlled on a schedule, at preset times, which is useful at locations where the gate needs to be open or closed during a specific period.
USERS AND ACCESS
Access management for up to 1000 users
The system can store up to 1000 users, each with individual access rights and entry periods. This means you can define not only who can open the gate, but also when and under what conditions – ideal for managing larger apartment buildings, sites and tenant access.
Doorbell forwarding to mobile
The module also forwards the activation of the gate doorbell to users' mobile phones, so ringing at the entrance can be detected remotely as well.
FEEDBACK AND REMOTE MONITORING
Suitable for remote monitoring and signal transmission (TELLMon protocol)
The device can report to an alarm receiving/monitoring center via the TELLMon protocol. This reporting can cover gate control events, events triggered by the inputs, unauthorized attempts, periodic test reports, power supply anomalies, scheduled operations, and reaching the SMS limit.
4 configurable inputs with status indication
The module has 4 inputs configurable in NO/NC mode, with adjustable sensitivity. Notifications about input status changes can be sent by email, SMS or call.
Push, SMS, email and call notifications
The system can notify you via push message, SMS, email or call – for example in case of a gate fault, unauthorized attempt, or other system event. The text of the SMS and email messages can be customized individually.
IP camera integration
An IP camera can also be configured for the module, and its image can be displayed in the mobile app, so the status of the gate can be checked visually as well.
Event log for transparent operation
The device stores the last 1000 events in the event memory, together with the identification of the user and the time of the control action. The event log and reports can also be sent by email.
INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
How does the Gate Control PRO 1000 Monitoring work?
- The installer wires the module to the control electronics of the gate(s) or barrier(s), then connects it to the Ethernet network and/or inserts the 4G SIM card.
- Authorized users are added to the system, and their access rights and entry periods are set.
- The inputs, outputs, scheduled controls and notifications are configured.
- If required, the IP camera is connected, and reporting to the remote monitoring center is set up (TELLMon protocol).
- Users can open the gate using the mobile app or a phone call, and the module logs the events and sends notifications when needed.
Remote programming with Webremoter
In addition to remote programming with the previously known programming software (which only ran on Windows machines), it is now also possible to program via the browser-based Webremoter, which requires no installation and can be used on Windows, macOS and Linux from any browser.
API integration
The module can also be integrated with third-party software via an API connection, allowing it to be connected to custom systems, access control or monitoring software.
SIM card requirements
The device requires a Nano (4FF) size SIM card that supports VoLTE voice transmission. Installation should be carried out by a qualified gate technology professional.
Which Gate Control PRO variant should I choose?
The Monitoring variant is recommended if you also want to connect the site to a remote monitoring/alarm receiving service, or if detailed reporting of events is important. If this is not needed, the standard Gate Control PRO 1000 is a suitable solution, and for smaller systems with up to 20 users, the Gate Control PRO 20 is also a good option.
