Gate Control PRO 1000: the Monitoring version at the price of the current 4G base model

From September 14, 2026, we are lowering the price of the Gate Control PRO 1000 Monitoring DIN rail. This means the more capable model will be available at the same price as the current Gate Control PRO 1000 4G base model.

At the same time, we are starting to phase out the Gate Control PRO 1000 DIN rail 4G base model. The base model will remain available while stock lasts, but no later than September 30, 2026. From October 1, only the existing Gate Control PRO 1000 Monitoring DIN rail version will be orderable.

What changes? 

Until now, the Gate Control PRO 1000 DIN rail has been available in two versions:

• the Gate Control PRO 1000 DIN rail base model with 4G connectivity,
• the Gate Control PRO 1000 Monitoring DIN rail with both 4G and Ethernet connectivity, plus remote monitoring signal transmission.

Going forward, the Monitoring version will take the place of the base model. This is not a new device — the existing Gate Control PRO 1000 Monitoring stays in our lineup, now at the previous base model's price. Accordingly, the price of the Monitoring version drops to the base model's price as of September 14, 2026.

What does this mean in practice? 

Most importantly, the familiar gate control features and installation method of the Gate Control PRO 1000 do not change. The Monitoring version provides the same core gate control functions and settings, so the switch requires no new installation practice. It still supports management of up to 1,000 users, control of two gates or barriers, permission and time period settings, and event logging.

The difference is that you now get extra communication options for the same price:

• Ethernet connection alongside 4G: where a wired network is available, the device can also connect to the internet via Ethernet. When a wired connection is used, mobile internet serves as the backup connection.
• Remote monitoring signal via the TELLMon protocol: the device's events can also be sent to a monitoring center. The Monitoring version can work with one primary and one backup receiver unit, and is compatible with both TELLMon and MVP.next systems.

If Ethernet connectivity or remote monitoring signaling is not needed, the Monitoring version can still be used as before, over a 4G connection.

Remote monitoring can become a new service offering 

The remote monitoring feature can also open up a business opportunity for installers. Gate and barrier remote monitoring can be the basis for continuous monitoring, proactive service or maintenance offerings — even a subscription-based model.

What happens to Gate Control PRO 1000 units already in use? 

This change does not affect Gate Control PRO 1000 DIN rail base models already purchased and installed. Warranty and technical support for units already sold remain unchanged.
